Lydia & Tony

Executive Secretary & Custodian/Deacon

Lydia began serving as a secretary at the church in January 2007. Tony stepped in as custodian in 2017, after he retired. The couple met on a blind date in Hawaii, where he was stationed in the army, on New Years’ Eve of 1972. Lydia had gone there to stay with her older brother who was stationed on the same base as Tony. Even though they both came from New Jersey, they traveled all the way to Hawaii to meet. They married there in 1974 and now have two children, a grandson, and two “bonus” granddaughters.
